The Conservation Cooperative

The Conservation Cooperative is committed to bringing conservation job skills to the next generation of leaders in resource conservation, renewable energy and land stewardship. Our work offers the additional capacity for land and resource conservation non-profit organizations and land management government agencies through service learning and peer networking.

The Conservation Cooperative finds, supports, supervises and matches new conservation
professionals with the organizations who are in need of
additional staff capacity. We accomplish this through our
cooperative partnerships with Universities and
workforce development agencies.

The Conservation Cooperative focuses efforts on undeserved communities. We consider underserved communities to be places where there are few institutions to support land and resource conservation and/or host a high population with a low per capita income. These are the communities where our investments will produce the greatest return and connect conservation outcomes with communities who need additional the institutional support.

Need

We live in a time of great possibility. We have the ability to bring land and resource conservation opportunities to the landscapes we love and live in. As our lands and communities change we need to empower the stewards of those lands with tools they need to conserve their resources. The Conservation Cooperative helps steward financial and technical support to aid others in achieving their land and resource conservation goals.
